I am a practical and ambitious finance professional; I have a comprehensive combination of financial and audit skills including involvement in financial markets-treasury, process-SOX audit, and financial business intelligence. I have more than 10 years of experience in financial controlling/planning and analysis, and managed up to 21 people from finance, accounting, audit, IT, and procurement functions in various countries and companies. Moreover, I enjoy being a sparring partner for other functions, a “translator” of data to meaningful guidance for business leaders and an ambitious MS Office/Power Tools/Business Intelligence applications trainer for team members.

I have a comprehensive knowledge of data and end-to-end process management; I enjoy diving deep and contributing to mapping, data mining and analysis, ERP development and even cross-functional workings. Experiencing many fields has brought me extensive knowledge in leading other functions especially sales team leaders, channel and credit management, business/sales finance, contract modeling, A/R, A/P and collection-based supervision, understanding, evaluating and implementing of international accounting standards company-wide.

Aksa Energy Kazakhstan - Kyzylorda | Head ofFinance & Controlling 

                                              Astana – Kyzylorda, Kazakhstan| 10.2022 – Present

• Accomplished project finance deal for gas-fired combined heat and power plant with a capacity of 268 MW, and end-to-end processes including financial models, business plans, legal opinions and credit documents. The investment and financing total is over $400M USD. 
• Prepared financial models and NBO presentations, and finalized financial due diligence studies and scenario analyses of Turkestan, ANPZ and MAEC power plants (installed capacity is over 1.400 MW).
• First point of contact in financial relations with Development Bank of Kazakhstan, Halyk Bank, Samryk Kazuna and Investment Fund. 
• Established local entity of the multinational holding, cost controlling - vendor inquiry structure, and financial & tax operations (via KPMG) managed tax declarations, 1C and SAP accounts.
• Finalized shareholder loan agreement procedures, collaborated in investment discussions with local authorities (via Grata and KPMG).

  First Quantum Capital Holding | Head ofFinance & ERP Transformation 

    Erbil – Kirkuk, Iraq| 11.2021 – 10.2022

Leading a team of 7 people including expats, and co-managing the cement factory’s finance function 

• Accomplished the 5-year business plans, business valuations and investment positions for the cement factory (Kirkuk-6.400 tons/day) and investment (Erbil-6.000 tons/day) with the cement business owner.
• Quickly took over the responsibility of solo and consolidated financial reporting and financial analysis & controlling group companies in cement, insurance, health care and asset management sectors.
• Put in use IAS and IFRS in financial reporting and recognition methods:
  • Reclassified fixed assets and inventories and took corrective measures over group companies’ (IAS 2, 11, 16, 36, 40),
  • Implemented standards regarding revenue and cost recognition (IFRS 15), structured the insurance contracts (IFRS 4 & 17),
  • Re-evaluation of receivables from - payables to both related and other parties align with IFRS and IAS (IFRS 9, 10 & 11, IAS 27 & 28).
• Single point of contact and managing ERP transformation(IFS) for group companies including creating charts of account and parent-child ledgers, member hierarchies, report layouts and visual data reporting.
• Built financial and management reporting model for Pelican Hills ($630M Erbil Hills settlement, 7-star hotel, Golf Course) with asset management experts.
