    Skills and experience required:

  • Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering / Electrical Engineering / Software Engineering or related fields
  • Working experience with leading-edge technologies in the mining industry
  • Experience with Linux OS and shell scripting, relational databases (PostgreSQL, Microsoft SQL Server), scripting languages such as PHP, Perl, Ruby on Rails
  • Knowledge of C++ or Objective-C programming languages
  • Familiar with project delivery methodologies for the purpose of managing installations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills Responsibilities:
  • Installing, configuring and commissioning MineOperate operational systems (Fleet Management System and Mining Equipment Health Management System) at customers' sites
  • Deploying and upgrading MineOperate systems, working closely with the project managers for a successful delivery outcome
  • Identifying issues and opportunities for improvement with Mining operational systems installed at customer mine sites and re-configuring systems as required
  • Troubleshooting and configuration of hardware and software
  • Providing training to operators and other customer personnel in the use and operation of systems at client sites
  • Conduct pre-sales tasks including configuration testing and field trials, repairing scoping and requirements documentation
  • Preparing reports on the performance of the deployed solution at the client site and recommendations for improvements as required Advantages:
